GRILLED STEAK WITH HOLLANDAISE SAUCE RECIPE

Thanks to the All Seasons smokeless electric grill, cooking a delicious steak indoor or outdoor has never been so easy.

First the steak:
  • Ask your butcher for a sirloin cut 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick.
  • Seasons with salt, pepper, garlic powder or crushed garlic. Rub fresh basil and parsley if you have time.
  • Allow 30 minutes for the salt to melt and penetrate prior to grilling.
Hollandaise sauce:
  • Using an Americraft waterless pan, mix one stick of butter with 3 tablespoon of lemon juice. Heat on low (3 to 4 setting) whyle slowly turning the butter with a wisker.
  • Once melted, add 3 egg yolks and mix rapidly until smooth. Continue to mix until sauce thickens (about 5 minutes).
  • Immediately pour into a bowl.
  • Caution: If you overheat, the mixture will separate. However, due to the special design and multiple metal plies of the Americraft pans, heat is evenly distributed such that this sauce can be made quickly without the use of a double boiler.
  • For a Bernaise sauce, add tarragon and chervil or parsley.
Turn the All Seasons Grill on full heat and wait approximately 7 minutes before putting steak on. Place at least 1/2 cup of water in the drip pan.
Put steaks on grate and cook 5 to 8 minutes on each side with the lid down. Voila.

The beauty of the All Seasons grill is that you can cook indoor or outdoor without the danger of flames or smoke. And better yet, the grate and drip pan go right in the dishwasher when you are done. No gas tank to refill, no mess, no carcinogenic smoke; just delicious flavors every time.
