MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY

A friend of mine has a beautiful yacht in Florida. Recently he shared an event which occurred on board. Actually it happened when he returned from a trip and wanted to take his All Seasons Grill with him back to the house. Mind you, this gentleman has many gas grills of all sizes on his pool veranda. But ever since he discovered the All Seasons Grill, he has not touched the others. They have been relegated to dinosaurs status or at best museum pieces.

The yacht was originally equipped with an electric grill on the top deck. However, when oil drippings or grease touched the exposed heating elements, smoke and flames would ensue. In addition, it drew way too many amps, requiring the second generator to come on line, particularly if someone was using the oven in the kitchen below with washers and dryers running.

The All Seasons Grill only uses 11 amps, which is less than most electrical skillets. And it doesn't smoke. In addition, the non-stick grate and disposable drip pan are easily removed and are dish washer safe.

Built tough in the USA, the All Seasons Grill meets UL outdoors and Boat & Yacht Council Standards. In fact the grill will outlast both of us and probably our grand children.

The mutiny was instigated by the yacht captain. Yes indeed. He instructed the admiral, (my friend), that in no way he was authorized to remove the All Seasons Grill from the yacht. Plain and simple or the captain was out of there. The reason was obvious, the ease of cleaning, the unique fire prevention safety features, the absence of smoke and flames and the perfect transfer of heat across the entire surface of the grate made the crew's life immensely simpler and the guests happy.

Now, you must understand that mutiny is a serious matter, worthy of thoughtful consideration. After all, the moral of the crew and passengers could be in jeopardy, not to mention the safety of the boat.

Needless to say, the admiral made a very wise decision that day: The captain is still the captain and the All Seasons Grill is still top side.

  1. This grill seems like a good little addition to any active outdoor life! It's always great to have something that can go where you go without taking too much time or trouble. I wonder how a recipe like this one would do on it...http://weber.com/recipes/Recipe.aspx?rid=32. Molly Koch (Weber)

BTW… check out our new video series “Weber Grill Master”. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRN-VTuA0aw Grilling experts Jamie Purviance and Steven Raichlen compare notes on grilling techniques, what inspired these classically trained chefs to pursue the art of cooking with live fire, and find out what led to their biggest grilling mistakes.
